Stop! Mango Time!

So the past few days have been both busy and hot! Between 5 people living in the house with the addition of a dog and a cat, well..... The place gets messy and always needs to be extremely clean and tidied at the end of the day or before a viewing. This is to make sure that anyone coming to view the house will see it how we want them to see it; a nice happy family home that they just HAVE to buy. Wilson of course just finds the changes and the busy bee attitude entertaining and likes to follow everyone around to see what they might be doing at that time and if he could lend a royal paw. This past day though he was sitting on the tile floor to stay cool and staring at me with his big puppy eyes, just to let me know how bored he was.
It was to hot out to take him for a walk and he was just so patience all day that I wanted to do something special for him. The plan was to take him bobbing for hot dogs but unfortunately as soon as we stepped out into the yard a extremely large swarm of mosquito's attacked (there is three times as many this year compared to the last) so I was forced inside and so was my redhead pup. Instead I decided to use other blog writers great ideas, give him something frozen! We tried ice cubes before but aside from licking and swatting away, Wilson had no interest. This time I used frozen mango and it was an instant hit with my furry friend! Wilson would walk around with it in his mouth, till it was completely thawed before chowing down. All in all, a good day.

Whispers of a Haircut!!!! Oh Noes!

I over heard mom and G-mum talking about taking me to ashley (apparently the best dog groomer in alberta) for a H-A-I-R C-U-T. Sadly they do not realized that this prince knows how to spell and is getting worried about the bathing, and the nail cutting and the grooming....Human females like this kind of thing, but me- a dachshund male male, for sure DOES NOT LIKE BATHING OR ANY OF IT. What can I do???? I'm full of worryment! But to make your day better here is something mom found on the internet!

10 Reasons Your Dog's hair cut costs more than yours
10. Your hairdresser doesn't wash and clean your rear end.
9. You don't go for 8 weeks without washing or brushing your hair.
8. Your hairdresser doesn't have to give you a sanitary trim.
7. Your hairdresser doesn't have to clean your ears.
6. Your hairdresser doesn't have to clean boogies from your eyes.
5. You sit still for your hairdresser.
4. Your haircut doesn't include a manicure or pedicure.
3. Your hairdresser only washes and cuts the hair on your head.
2. You don't bite or scratch your hairdresser. (I hope not anyway).

And the Number 1 reason your dog's haircut costs more than yours....
1. The likelihood of you pooping or peeing while your hair is being cut is extremely slim.

Its ALL TRUE!

We are back!

....And have been for over a week since we have been back from camping but things are busy at home so mom says sorry for not blogging!

Camping was so much fun! I was able to do so many new things, my tail was almost wagging the whole two weeks! I got to be off leash to follow my nose where ever I want, though not far from my family. There was big dogs around and I was careful to make sure I got more love and petting then they did. There was much to do and I have been able to keep so busy doing such things like....

Digging up mole holes. Mom told me they were old and nothing was there anymore, but because I keep staring mom finally gave me the 'go ahead'. She was right of course, I couldn't find anything. =(

We also went on a tram, it was scary but interesting to look out the window at all that fast deep water. I was worried, but mom had a hold of me.

I got to see the sky turn some strange colors, and got to watch mom trying to take pictures of the sunset with interest.

Here's a picture of me after I tried helping mom and G-ma pan for gold. I got really wet with water up my nose. And I don't have chicken feet in this picture. I Do Not!

I also got to carry around a big stick, all princes need a big stick.
As for the reason we have been to busy to post.....We are moving! The past week and a half have been spent packing and cleaning the house for new owners! I of course have been making sure that nothing important like my treats have been packed up, and that I am still allowed on a bed every night.
