Nothing exciting happened today, so instead I plugged in the camera and downloaded a few videos of wilson, and was suprised to find that not only did I not blog about this insodent, but I also didn't show this video even on facebook. (my dog is cute, I love to share everything about my dog. Course anyone reading this will understand!)
So one hot day I was making some ice cool drinks and dropped a large quiantity of ice on the ground. I have mentioned before that Wilson never seemed interested in ice cubes, so imagine my suprise at seeing 15lbs of pure dachshund and fur race into the kitchen and start knocking icecubes left, right and center!
As you can see he grabs as many as he can fit in his mouth then spits them all out to grab more. We had a good half hour fun of me rolling ice cubes along the floor and my little pup running around trying to collect them all together. Later on (not of video sadly) Wilson stares downstairs at the ice cube that vanished, and well for the rest of the day he would keep going back there to see if the ice cube somehow climbed back up the stairs for him to chase. Oh Wilson!!

The tale of Wilson and the cookie.
Whats that? Smells good.....Real good......Funny shape though mum.
I'm ok with the shape, it smells really good. Can I...? Possibly....Mayhaps.....No, never mind...But it does look good..and you haven't fed me enough today...
Can I has the cookie?
Can I has the cookie?
Oh boy! She gave me the cookie!! Now I'm going to walk around the house, holding it till it gets nice and wet with my saliva!
Look at me! I look so cute with the teddy bear shape cookie in my mouth! And then BAM! Bam being the sound effect of my little heart when mummy gives you a gift and then I can't find the gift....
Now I'm going to go and share it with Sharkie! Later days!

Wilson reviews the can food Wingaling by Merrick
[ Please remember (in my opinion) that while most dogs love the taste of canned food it should almost never be used as the dogs staple meal- unless suggested by a vet. ]
Wilson has never had canned food before (well, not that I know of) and I had planned on never giving it to him either till a friend had pestered me to try Merricks. I trusted her opinion enough to give it a try. A day later I came home with Wingaling. Now I'm not an expert on canine nutrition, and even though I love Wilson, I will never be. So I'm not going to go into why this may or may not be good for your dog, this was just a treat for the willy-billy.
He liked it well enough, but not enough that I'd try it again. I've seen him get more excited over his dry kibble then this canned food. The only thing that he loved was the sauce, it was the first thing he licked up, the meat chunks next then the chicken wing (which was slow cooked and therefore not sharp and fragile as cooked chicken wings)
Wilson: I give Wingaling a 2 and a half tail wags, and a gassy moment or two later on.

Stop! Mango Time!
So the past few days have been both busy and hot! Between 5 people living in the house with the addition of a dog and a cat, well..... The place gets messy and always needs to be extremely clean and tidied at the end of the day or before a viewing. This is to make sure that anyone coming to view the house will see it how we want them to see it; a nice happy family home that they just HAVE to buy. Wilson of course just finds the changes and the busy bee attitude entertaining and likes to follow everyone around to see what they might be doing at that time and if he could lend a royal paw. This past day though he was sitting on the tile floor to stay cool and staring at me with his big puppy eyes, just to let me know how bored he was.
It was to hot out to take him for a walk and he was just so patience all day that I wanted to do something special for him. The plan was to take him bobbing for hot dogs but unfortunately as soon as we stepped out into the yard a extremely large swarm of mosquito's attacked (there is three times as many this year compared to the last) so I was forced inside and so was my redhead pup. Instead I decided to use other blog writers great ideas, give him something frozen! We tried ice cubes before but aside from licking and swatting away, Wilson had no interest. This time I used frozen mango and it was an instant hit with my furry friend! Wilson would walk around with it in his mouth, till it was completely thawed before chowing down. All in all, a good day.

Whispers of a Haircut!!!! Oh Noes!
I over heard mom and G-mum talking about taking me to ashley (apparently the best dog groomer in alberta) for a H-A-I-R C-U-T. Sadly they do not realized that this prince knows how to spell and is getting worried about the bathing, and the nail cutting and the grooming....Human females like this kind of thing, but me- a dachshund male male, for sure DOES NOT LIKE BATHING OR ANY OF IT. What can I do???? I'm full of worryment! But to make your day better here is something mom found on the internet!
10 Reasons Your Dog's hair cut costs more than yours
10. Your hairdresser doesn't wash and clean your rear end.
9. You don't go for 8 weeks without washing or brushing your hair.
8. Your hairdresser doesn't have to give you a sanitary trim.
7. Your hairdresser doesn't have to clean your ears.
6. Your hairdresser doesn't have to clean boogies from your eyes.
5. You sit still for your hairdresser.
4. Your haircut doesn't include a manicure or pedicure.
3. Your hairdresser only washes and cuts the hair on your head.
2. You don't bite or scratch your hairdresser. (I hope not anyway).
And the Number 1 reason your dog's haircut costs more than yours....
1. The likelihood of you pooping or peeing while your hair is being cut is extremely slim.
Its ALL TRUE!

We are back!
....And have been for over a week since we have been back from camping but things are busy at home so mom says sorry for not blogging!
Camping was so much fun! I was able to do so many new things, my tail was almost wagging the whole two weeks! I got to be off leash to follow my nose where ever I want, though not far from my family. There was big dogs around and I was careful to make sure I got more love and petting then they did. There was much to do and I have been able to keep so busy doing such things like....
Digging up mole holes. Mom told me they were old and nothing was there anymore, but because I keep staring mom finally gave me the 'go ahead'. She was right of course, I couldn't find anything. =(
We also went on a tram, it was scary but interesting to look out the window at all that fast deep water. I was worried, but mom had a hold of me.
I got to see the sky turn some strange colors, and got to watch mom trying to take pictures of the sunset with interest.
Here's a picture of me after I tried helping mom and G-ma pan for gold. I got really wet with water up my nose. And I don't have chicken feet in this picture. I Do Not!

I also got to carry around a big stick, all princes need a big stick.
As for the reason we have been to busy to post.....We are moving! The past week and a half have been spent packing and cleaning the house for new owners! I of course have been making sure that nothing important like my treats have been packed up, and that I am still allowed on a bed every night.
